Ice Hotel in Sweden: Zoe and Stephen's very visually exciting wedding! Still re-designing their Ice Hotel wedding album and Masked Ball at the Pumphouse Roman baths in Bath. Here are two snowy Winter weddings before Christmas: one at Augill Castle in Cumbria and one in a church in Marsden with the reception at the Huntsman Inn in West Yorkshire. We were also thrilled to be invited to William's Christening , following Sharleen and Chris's wedding at Woolley Hall 2 years ago . As soon as I got back from the wedding in Cyprus we had a colourful Asian wedding - just the photography at the Al Hikmah Centre in Batley. Have some of the travel pictures from Cyprus online. One week in August we had 7 weddings so were up in Scotland on the Wednesday, back in Yorkshire for the Friday and back up to Scotland the next day for a wedding in Auchen Castle. then on to Newcastle for an Asian wedding the following day! Then we have been all the way down to Dartmoor for a romantic wedding, see the the wedding ceremony in Tavistock Town Hall. We've also been the videographers and photographers weddings at Sherborne Castle in Devon, and Lutonhoo - an absolutely beautiful wedding venue near St. Albans - a stately home on a grand scale! website for Luton Hoo. We also really love doing wedding photography and video in the Lake District - Cumbria - such as Langdale Chase Hotel on the shores of Lake Windermere, Eskdale Gatehouse - the Outward Bound Centre, and the Inn on the Lake in Ullswater- we even had two Winter weddings there in January and April 2008! Sandhole Farm Barn in Cheshire is another of our favourite wedding venues in the North of England near Manchester.

We recently discovered a grand castle-like wedding venue near Selby - Carlton Towers - in the village of Carlton in Yorkshire where the East West and North Yorkshire borders meet! This is our pre-wedding shoot for Kath & Simon who got married there in June 2010. Oulton Hall wedding Fayre had a huge array of talent, in particular the beautiful models performing in the spectacular fashion show of wedding dresses, men's attire, and stunning fashion dresses for wedding guests.

If you want a talented Mehndi artist, Sunita is the best! She paints complex mehndi designs directly from memory! This was a Zimbabwean wedding in Wolverhampton, so we seem to attract many mixed race marriages and exotic ethnicities which is great! Sometimes we are lucky to have interacial marriages, with all the challenges of different skin tones, but its all good fun! We've had French and Sikh, Hindu and Catholic, perfect Nigerian and milky white British, and other unusual combinations. Husband and videoman Jorge is Cuban and I am British so we are a good choice for anyone having a wedding with cultural mixes! Overseas weddings specialsist Jim Gordan also has a good site!

We even go abroad to cover weddings internationally! The first we ever did was in the Ice Hotel in Sweden, where the temperatures stays a steady minus 5 degrees - inside the hotel! Then when I was in Australia for a wedding at Jacobs Creek Retreat (website for Jacobs Creek Retreat) I got an email asking me to quote for a wedding in the Loire valley in France at the Chateau de Detilly. Since then we have done may overseas destination weddings, including video and photgraphy in a quaint chapel in Tenerife -after the initial wedding ceremony in Berties in Elland near Huddersfield, 3 weddings in Southern Ireland, including one in Kilkea Castle, website for Kilkea Castle and even an Orthodox wedding in Egypt so we are used to picking up our ready-packed bags and hopping on a plane to some exotic wedding venue overseas. I doubt that many wedding photographers will have had the experience of covering a Bedouin wedding in Petra Jordan, but I was thrilled to share two brides' wedding days there in 2009.
